Microdroplets Blood Iron Levels Protective shield

Blood IRON levels compared

Researchers have been able to demonstrate that FeVit ORAL IRON application does not cause a huge surge in the IRON levels in the blood compared to injected iron - see the graph below. It was also noted that the blood levels were the same for both injected and orally administered iron after about 3 days.

The first herd to try FeVit in the UK ten years ago took only two weeks into a comparative trial comparing it with their (until then) routine Gleptoferron 1ml intramuscular injection, to decide to switch over permanently to the 2ml FeVit oral approach. This particular herd has 800 sows and the first year following the introduction of FeVit saw them produce their best ever performance of 24 piglets weaned per sow per year at 28 days of age. Weaning weights are also better than ever. They have never looked back and also found that injection related infections
were no longer a problem, e.g. joint infections, with obvious advantages for the finishing pigs as well. They find it a safe and pleasant procedure, although they always pay particular attention to ensuring the piglets are correctly dosed and swallow the whole amount. Our experience here in the UK shows that this is essential to guarantee success. Many more large and small UK herds are now enjoying the advantages this excellent product provides, with veterinarians and advisers increasingly recommending the product.
