We are aware nowadays that pigeons on long distance flights mainly use their body fat as an energy source to supply their wing musculature with ATP (adenosine triphosphate). Burning fat, however, requires a lot of oxygen, which has to be inhaled through the lungs. With accelerated breathing the body loses more water which will increase the density of body fluids and so concentrate all the harmful by-products of energy metabolism. The "Veyxalin-Vital-Nutrient-Complex" in effect acts as a transporting agent, bringing the fatty acids to the power stations of the cell, the "mitochondria". It considerably reduces the amount of oxygen required through respiration to burn fat. It also supports the transportation of harmful by-products away from the carbohydrate metabolism.
The current combination of Vitamin E and the "Veyxalin-Vital-Nutrient-Complex" as a micro-emulsion have considerable advantages compared to other formulations with regard to the biological availability of the nutrients. This product is manufactured using a special emulsifier. Emulsifying the components breaks them up into microscopic particles that will then be transported through the small intestine directly into the lymphatic system. This corpuscular-lymphatic absorption ensures a rapid availability of the active ingredients, even in diseased states, due to the delivery of nutrients along with the absorption and ingestion of fat. In addition, there is a long-lasting effect persisting over many hours.
Since Bio-Weyxin® 310 LT is water-soluble it can be given with the feed or water. It compensates for any nutritional deficiencies of vitamin and active nutrients. This is of major significance and its beneficial effects are listed below in order of importance:
· to ensure the availability of energy for the wing musculature as long-chain fatty acids
· to ensure a regular and lasting energy supply for the wing musculature,
· to avoid muscular fatigue and spasm - during muscle activity less lactic acid is produced, since more fatty acids are supplied for energy production, instead of carbohydrates,
· to reduce muscular atrophy and to protect the muscle membranes from lesions caused by the harmful by-products of the metabolic processes that take place during muscle activity,
· to reduce the recovery period after extreme performance phases,
· to reduce the fatty acid content in the blood, so making them available for energy production,
· i.e. to ensure adequate cardiac activity, maintain stamina and marathon performance, improve physical endurance and shorten recovery after competition.
Content of Additive:
1 ml contains: 60 mg vitamin E. with the "Veyxalin-Vital-Nutrient-Complex" consisting of permitted additives for feedstuffs.

0.5 ml (10 drops) daily/pigeon 5 days prior to until 5 days after competitions.

Blood level values:
Various institutions have carried out tests on the increased vitamin content in the blood of various animals after administering different vitamin preparations orally and parenterally by injection. The tests produced, for example, the following results with Vitamin A:
· With emulsified vitamins, the vitamin-content in the blood increases considerably only 15 minutes after they are administered.
· The same increase of the vitamin content in the blood achieved with Bio-Weyxin® after 15 minutes is only achieved after 480 minutes with vitamin-water based (aqua sol) products administered by injection; with oral vitamins dissolved in oil and with vitamin water based (aqua sol) fed orally, this is never achieved.
· After 480 minutes the vitamin absorption of Bio-Weyxin® 310 LT exceeds the absorption of other vitamin preparations by eight to ten times.
At the same time it was observed that finely emulsified vitamins remain in the organism for much longer.
The advantage of fast, safe, complete
absorption
Our research into finding efficient forms of administering vitamins and active nutrients, have centred on the example provided by the first milk or colostrum.
Milk fat is highly dispersed into tiny droplets protected by protein membranes. These are formed as microcapsules that are only a few thousandth of a millimetre in diameter. In this special form, the active ingredients in the milk fat pass into the bloodstream without any losses.
In Bio-Weyxin® 310 LT the active nutrients are microencapsulated through a special emulsifying process. With the help of plant extracts, tiny droplets of approx. 1.5 µm in size are formed. This form guarantees a safe absorption, which is decisive for the health of any animal.
In this way even newly born animals or recently hatched birds are able to ingest nutrients essential for growth along with vitamins, without loss and incompatibility problems.
The active nutrients of the Bio-Weyxin® 310 LT emulsion get directly into the blood stream by-passing the liver.
This results in a complete, safe and rapid effect, even in newborn animals or recently hatched birds and also in those that are diseased.
Losses in the liver or intestines do not occur.
What is so special about the Veyx-Micro-Emulsions?
Amongst the many different formulations of vitamin preparations available nowadays, the emulsified vitamins of Veyx-Pharma, the so called "Bio-Weyxins®", occupy a special position in comparison to conventional vitamin products: their characteristic feature is the unique way they are absorbed, resulting in rapid availability of these highly effective active nutrients in the tissue.
Emulsified Vitamins - Physiology - Absorption
Emulsifying means to break up the fat along with the relevant substances dissolved therein into droplets of the smallest diameter (1- 3 microns) and their even distribution in water. An emulsifier is added in order to avoid the fat droplets rejoining and to ensure that the substances dissolved in the water fix tightly onto the fat droplet,. The result is a micro-emulsion (micro-encapsulation) with features similar to that found in mammalian first milk, also known as colostrum.
This means that emulsifying produces an extreme enlargement of the effective surface area that can carry these nutrients.
For the emulsion to remain effective, it is therefore of major importance that
1. it remains stable until absorption takes place in the small intestine;
2. it contains an emulsifier that is harmless and can be catabolised by the
metabolism;
3. any loss of the substances by the emulsification process is avoided and it
also achieves high response levels of the nutritional ingredients following
emulsification.
Bio-Weyxin® meets these requirements in every respect. The size of the emulsified particles is matched so that absorption happens almost entirely corpuscularly via the lymphatic system. From here the substances are transported directly into the blood stream, thus ensuring that all the vitamins and nutrients reach every organ and cell via the bloodstream.
In this way the vitamin intake bypasses the liver, thus avoiding any filtration effect. This is of major importance in cases of the delayed effects of gastrointestinal disorders or after veterinary treatment, i.e. during the recovery phase.
