The natural herbal oils and herbal extracts contained in Hippo Veyxin® 830 Pulmo serve to regulate the metabolic processes in the respiratory tract through, for example the breakdown of mucous and additionally supporting the disease resistance function of the lungs. Through supplementing the feed rations with Hippo Veyxin® 830 Pulmo the horse receives health promoting herbs that are frequently absent these days from the commonly intensively maintained pastures. The product is suitable for both the prevention of the lung problems that so frequently occur in horses and in the support of a medicated treatment. Through a careful manufacturing process the essential oils present in the product are not impaired and are available to the organism.
Hippo Veyxin® 830 Pulmo is a pure natural product without substances damaging to the animal. Thus it can be given over long periods. Its well balanced composition enriches the daily provision of restorative nutrients in the food ration. As it is a feed additive Hippo Veyxin® 830 Pulmo need not be entered into the stable treatment diary or the equine passport. It is simple to dose and is taken readily by the horse.
Measured in terms of its biological value the product, presented in the form of a micro-emulsion, exhibits considerable advantages compared to ordinary types of formulations. A good distribution of the effective components is achieved as a result of its special preparation in the form of a micro-emulsion. As a result of the special micro-emulsion process a rapid and almost complete absorption is secured via the corpuscular-lymphatic route, thus ensuring that the respiratory tract is provided with the necessary nutrients and active ingredients.
Composition:
Water, MCT-vegetable oil, bee honey, aromatic herbal extract mixture, comprising of: liquorice extract, echinacea, propolis extract; aromatic herbal oil mixture comprising of: eucalyptus, Swiss mountain pine extract, thyme, peppermint, sage and lemon oils.

Instructions for use:
The feeding of this supplementary feed corrects a nutritionally derived undersupply of nutrients that are relevant to the upper and lower respiratory tracts. Its application is particularly recommended:
· to support the function of the upper and lower respiratory tracts
· to fortify and activate the body’s own defence mechanisms in the respiratory tracts
Recommended dosages/Feeding recommendations:
Hippo Veyxin® 830 Pulmo is easily and precisely dosed using the measuring beaker provided. A dosing pump can be provided upon request.
The undiluted product can be given directly into the mouth or with the concentrate feed.
Hippo Veyxin® 830 Pulmo can also be diluted in water (2 ml per Litre) and using a watering can sprinkled over the hay. Wetting the hay has the positive side-effect of reducing dust. Thus reducing the breathing in of allergens.
The feeding of 15 ml in horses weighing less than 500 kg LWt. and 20 ml in horses of more than 500 kg LWt. should be carried out according to the following scheme:
1. - 6. days 2 x 15 ml/< 500 kg LWt.
2 x 20 ml/> 500 kg LWt.
7. - 10. days 1 x 15 ml/< 500 kg LWt.
1 x 20 ml/> 500 kg LWt.
