Vitamin and active nutrient emulsion – with L-carnitine

BioWeyxin® 810 is a product specially developed for sport and performance horses. Vitamin E and L-carnitine, the active ingredients in this product play a decisive role in the body. Muscles metabolise carbohydrates and fatty acids in order to release energy for movement and work. Carbohydrates are chiefly metabolised for short term effort, whilst fatty acids are metabolised for continuous long term effort. The heart’s myocardium is special, as its energy needs are gained almost exclusively through metabolising fatty acids.
The active nutrients in BioWeyxin® 810 in effect provide the means of transport that deliver the fatty acids to the ‘power stations’ of the muscle cell (the mitochondria). In addition, this preparation helps carry harmful by-products away from the carbohydrate metabolism process. As herbage and cereal diets only contain a low level of L-carnitine, horses must cover their needs via their own biosynthesis. However, specific deficiency symptoms are increasingly diagnosed as a consequence of a lack of L-carnitine. An example of L-carnitine deficiency commonly experienced and particularly found in young horses is a weakness of the back and croup muscles. Young horses have a particularly low level of biosynthesis for L-carnitine.
The combination of vitamin E and L-carnitine in this emulsion has a considerable advantage over other preparations in terms of its bio-availability. A special emulsifying agent is used in this product. Vitamins are dissolved into micro-fine particles by way of a refined emulsification process. These particles are carried directly through the wall of the small intestine via the lymphatic system, similar to the mother’s first milk or colostrum. This corpuscular-lymphatic absorption thus ensures a rapid availability of vitamins and nutrients (even in diseased states of nutritional origin and with poor fat absorption and digestion). It is recommended that a specialist is consulted for advice prior to using this dietary feed supplement.

60,000 mg vitamin E (equivalent to 60 mg/mI)
170,000 mg L-carnitine (equivalent to 170 mg/mI)
Instructions for use and feeding
Can be fed directly into the mouth, in the feed, milk or water before during and after particularly demanding or stressful periods. It compensates for a deficiency of vitamin E and L-carnitine.
In particular it:
- improves stamina;
- stimulates muscular activity;
- maintains cardiac function and performance;
- shortens the recovery period following sporting events;
- improves the animal’s overall physical endurance.
Dosage:
general supplementary feed: 2 x 15ml daily
during training periods: 2 x 20ml daily
during competitions/physical activity: 2 x 20ml daily
This emulsion should be fed @ 15ml to 20ml TWICE per day for approximately 5 days before to 5 days after particularly stressful physical performance periods.
